Welcome to the Department of Languages and Communication Studies, home to the only English medium degree program in Communication Studies in the Sri Lankan state university sector. Our highly qualified faculty is dedicated to providing an exceptional education, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, such as a modern digital cinema theatre, sound studio, and editing laboratory. We offer degree programs in Communication Studies and Languages, as well as a Diploma in English, preparing undergraduates for successful careers in the dynamic fields of communication, education, and administration.
